Rhythm is a cycle tracking and wellness journaling app. Your health data is personal and sensitive, and we take that seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you create an account and use Rhythm, we collect:
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your health data for advertising.
Your personal notes and AI chat conversations are encrypted before being stored. This means your private content is not readable in plain text, even in our database.
Rhythm uses Claude (by Anthropic) to generate cycle insights and power AI chat. Your cycle data and context are sent to Claude's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to that processing. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Rhythm is built on Firebase (Google), which provides authentication, database, cloud functions, and push notifications. Data is stored on Firebase's servers. Google's privacy policies apply to Firebase's data processing.
Partner sharing is entirely opt-in. If you share your Rhythm data with a partner, they can see your current cycle phase and AI-generated insight summaries. You can revoke partner access at any time in Settings.
We retain your data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Deletion removes your account, all cycle data, journal entries, and chat history permanently.
Rhythm is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time through the app. To request a copy of your data or ask questions about how it is handled, contact us at the address below.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
